Muti-talented singer, songwriter, and musician, Chris Teague was born to a loving and hard working family in Dallas, Texas. The household he grew up in was Christ-centered, so it was only fitting that he got his musical start at a small church in Oak Cliff, Texas, Bethesda Community Church where he sang in the choir, the praise team, and began directing, composing, and arranging. Chris picked up a saxophone for the first tome in sixth grade. From there he cultivated his instrumental gift throughout high school and was able to earn a spot in the Sam Houston State University School of Music. He studied jazz, contemporary music, classical composition, as well as rhythm and blues. The college experience gave him a musical edge and some unique experiences. He began writing songs, and performing at open-mic events. Networking and meeting various producers, singers, musicians and composers opened many doors and Chris has been able to be a background vocalist for an array of artists such as Victoria White and Stevie Wonder. His sultry and smooth tone is credited to influences such as Luther Vandross, Prince, Charlie Wilson, Usher, Daniel Caesar, John Legend, Tank and many more.
